Inspired by the Young Hacks Academy summer technology camp, Oxbow High School has piloted an 8th grade class in 2014-15 that supports multidisciplinary learning and the development of problem solving skills through the medium of computer programming. Using Scratch, a free online coding tool, students develop engaging stories, animations, and games connected to real world issues, all in a fun and engaging format!
